Polycultural Christmas Bazaar
Bright colours, smiling faces and laughter marked the start of the Polycultural Christmas Bazaar at the Sheridan Centre. Door prizes like gift baskets, chocolate snowmen and beautifully-printed coasters were given out to happy winners, who eagerly collected them and showed them off to their friends. Entry was free to anyone who wanted to join in the festive and cheerful fundraiser. Scarves, baked goods, jewelry, toys and books were enthusiastically bought and sold for a few hours on the Friday afternoon in December.
The Bazaar is an annual fundraiser for the Polycultural Immigrant and Community Services. Once the sale wrapped up, friends mingled and compared goodies with each other.
