International Medical Graduates
If you are an International Medical Graduate (IMG) and you’re pursuing medical career in Canada, we can help you with information on how to obtain an independent practice license and prepare for your Medical Council of Canada exams including clinical exams (QE2 & NAC OSCE).
International Medical Graduates can participate in the following activities:
1. Self-study groups conducted by IMG Mentors
2. Resume & cover letter writing as well as interview preparation
3. Information sessions conducted by guest speakers from healthcare field
4. Information focused on pathways to practice
Over a hundred IMGs have benefited from our services, and over 90% of them have passed their exams! Hopes are high for our IMG Support Group members to enter into CaRMS in the nearest future, an organization responsible for enrollment into postgraduate medical training throughout Canada.
